Pilots attending previous events.

This year we are offering the balloon teams at the Silverstone Classic Balloon Meet:

• Up to six full passes for the weekend. These are the ADULT 3 DAY WEEKEND TICKETS valued at £125 per person.  (Tickets will only be provided to you after all information, documents and a blank cheque for gas have been received.)
• PLEASE NOTE: You have to pay for camping (which is at a reduced rate).
• The Fee for camping is £30 per person for the weekend
• Camping tickets for Children aged 6 - 16 are £10
• Camping is in the Silverstone Woodlands Campsite which is south of the circuit outside Club Corner. This campsite has purpose built toilets and showers.
• Routemaster bus transfers from the campsite and paddock to paddock are available.
• Please note: We are are not able to provide the hog roast (which used to be on the Saturday afternoon) this year.

In addition we have arranged with the organisers, AvantiGas and Silverstone that the pumped and metered propane supply will be available for refuelling during the event at a cost of 50 pence per litre. VAT will be charged at 20%.  A blank cheque will be required (supplied to the organisers in advance) to use this facility.   A gas card will be issued to each balloon team once their registration has been accepted and completed.  A member of your team will need to sign the card after each fill to indicate that they have received the amount of gas shown on the card.  

• Please note: NO CHEQUE = NO GAS.

• The cost of entry to this year’s Silverstone Classic Balloon Meet is £40.00.

Highlights for 2021:

• 4 Days of ballooning from Thursday evening through to Sunday morning.

• 6 flying slots including from the race circuit on Friday evening.

• Night Glows during the Concert on Friday and Saturday night. Please let us know if you are interested in participating in the night glows.  (Please note that this year the circuit has requested that all balloonists taking part in the night glow on Friday and Saturday evenings have £2m Public Liability Insurance cover in place.)

• On Friday and Saturday evenings the music on stage includes the The Brand New Heavies, Aswad and Scouting for Girls.

• This year, on Sunday, there will be a special anniversary parade for the Triumph Stag, celebrating its 50th anniversary.
